John Brittain and Susan Grush
Well — this was a first for us! And, it was quite a compliment when John Brittain proposed to Susan Grush on our Cape Cod trip this past September.
You hear about all those perfect "marry me" scenarios — the romantic dinner, the ring at the bottom of a wine glass, etc., etc., but as an athletic person I confess that taking your "intended" on a bicycle tour and proposing on the beach seems VERY romantic.
Lucky for them — the setting was perfect!
We had glorious weather, accommodations and meals were great, our group was fun, and John could "POP" the question on the final night — right on the beach in Dennisport.
We're thrilled for the couple! Here they are in gleeful splendor!
