Policies and Conditions 2026-2027

Payment Policy

A $500 deposit per person is required with each registration for tours up to 8 days and Tulip Tours . An $800 per person deposit per person is required for 10 day to 2 week tours. 

For 8 day and Tulip Tours a second trip payment of $500 per person is due December 1 and is specified in your trip Welcome Letter. The final balance is payable no later than 75 days prior to the trip start.

For 10 day to two week tours a second $800 payment, or payment in full, is due December 1. Final balances for 10 day to 2 week tours are due 125 days from the trip start date.

Our 11 day England Coast Tour requires a $800 non refundable deposit.

Non-payment of trip balances by the due date may be considered a Participant cancellation.

Cancellation Policy

All tour cancellations by a participant must be in writing by e-mail and the date of cancellation will be the date of receipt of the e-mail. We maintain a waitlist for all trips and do our best to locate a replacement if cancellation of your booking becomes necessary. At no time, however, can we guarantee that we will be able to fill a cancelled spot.

  • Tulip Tour Cancellations received 150 days or greater from the trip start date: all payments will be refunded less a $150 administrative fee- per person. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $35 administrative fee-per person.
  • Tulip Tour Cancellations received between 149-120 days prior to trip start date: all payments will be refunded less a $300 administrative fee- per person. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $50 administrative fee-per person.
  • Tulip Tour Cancellations received between 119-95 days from the trip start date: all payments will be refunded less a $400 administrative fee- per person. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $75 administrative fee-per person.
  • Tulip Tour Cancellations received 94 days or less from the trip start date: 100% of the total trip price per person is non-refundable unless we fill your spot with another participant. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $100 administrative fee-per person.

Cancellation for 10 day to 2 week tours

  • Any Cancellations of the England 11 day tour are subject to an $800 non-refundable tour registration deposit unless we can fill your spot.
  • Cancellations received 150 days or greater from the trip start date: all payments will be refunded less a $150 administrative fee- per person. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $35 administrative fee-per person.
  • Cancellations received between 149-125 days prior to trip start date: all payments will be refunded less a $300 administrative fee- per person. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $50 administrative fee-per person.
  • Cancellations received 124 days or less from the trip start date: 100% of the total trip price per person is non-refundable unless we fill your spot with another participant. If we are able to fill your spot, we will refund all payments made less a $100 administrative fee-per person.

In the unlikely event a Bike and the Like tour is cancelled due to any reason other then a force majeure event, all trip fee payments will be refunded. A "force majeur event" is any event beyond the reasonable control of Bike and the Like, including but not limited to war, threat of war, sabotage, civil disturbance, acts of God, fire, accident, flood or explosion, sickness, contagion, epidemics, quarantine, Government intervention, travel bans and weather conditions.

Refunds constitute full settlement in the event of cancellation of a tour; Bike and the Like is not responsible for airfares fees or other expenses incurred by a participant due to change in itinerary or tour cancellation. No refunds or discounts will be granted for a Participant arriving late or leaving a tour prior to the tour's conclusion.

Travel Insurance

Because it is necessary for Bike and the Like to adhere to its cancellation/refund policy and because unexpected things can happen to interrupt your plans, Bike and the Like requires all participants to secure Travel Insurance. For comparative analysis of Travel Insurance companies and policies we found Square Mouth to be helpful.

I, as participant acknowledge and agree by signing my signature in the space provided on the online registration form under Legal Agreements, that I was provided with the Deposit Terms, Cancellation Terms and Insurance Recommendations prior to my participation or payment for any Bike and the Like tour or event, and that I had the option to forgo registration or payment for any Bike and the Like tour or event without agreeing to the terms on this page.
